pre sleep post

today was a weird day. i felt so burdened for haiti. yesterday someone tried to kidnap the people who are running the orphanage we are going to visit this summer. things are so real right now to me. here in america it's easy to get blinded by all the stuff and commercialism. i don't even know how to describe the heavy burden on my heart today. I know this was an attack and m' ap priye pou ayiti and our trip. Our first trip meeting was Saturday and I have another meeting tomorrow about another trip coming up. i'm excited to serve, practice my creole and to show alicia what this obsession of mine is all about and to see the kids again.

i'm trying not to complain about the heat. a fan would be nice though.
